Had a little play with (or possibly toyed with!) a black Civic Type R (previous generation, but later shape) sporting a PH sticker yesterday. Good sensible fun that made my day! Anyone on here?

In real terms not any time soon!
The current contract needs to expire, which is next year sometime, and then they need to come to some arrangement with Wiltshire Police who I gather are none to pleased with the idea.
I think it only covers about 6 cameras anyway. Don't hold your breath!

I believe it is just 3 fixed camera sites.

One seams to be pretty much out of action most of the time anyway.

I haven't driven past a speed camera in Swindon in aaaaggggeeeessss anyway. The couple i have haven't really been in places I'd be going any faster anyway.

The mobile cameras are another matter. The bridge over into Wroughton is well known for having one tucked away. My old boss managed to get caught twice in a day. Didn't spot it the first time! Oops!

TBH if you're local mobile sites are as predictable anyway. I'm more scared of the black Lexus (and others) that prowl the A419 and between the two Swindon junctions of the M4.

Adam,
I see you cruising through Old Town almost daily. I wondered who it was - figured they must be on here somewhere!
If you see a red (obviously!) 944T give me a wave!

Hi David,

Are you usually in the 944?

I'll keep my eyes open :-)

I tend to be although I don't usually get much past Wroughton in the car, on the bus into town, unless I use the Harvest petrol station by the Coop.
