Sun, Sand, Sea & Lotus, W.S.M 31/08.

It happened last year & this Sunday its happening again, the sun, sand, sea & burning rubber Lotus meet on the green, sea front at Weston s Mare.

Last year the sun was out & it was a great day, we all were very sun burnt. That may not happen this year but there will be 30 or 40 odd Loti ranging from early classics, Esprits, lots of Elises & a few other unusual cars thats you wont see every day.

Fun & frolics start from 10.00ish until about 4ish. If your about pop on down & say Hi.

Your right, Seloc has just been updated. I know there are cars coming from miles around, i'm wondering if we just do it anyway!

'This is due to the extreme incompetence of the local council who are unable to provide access to the area. This was only discovered by myself when i checked out the area last night. A fact that the council failed to inform me of.'

Surely a load of spaces could be reserved along the front if someone got there early.

Especially if we got there really early & cordoned an area off with security fencing nicked from below the pier...good idea Graham!

So, I'm assuming it didn't happen. We were in WSM but never did get around to the front - too busy trying to find somewhere to go on hols!

Ah you missed it mate, we were all there, free test drives in the new Evora, the new Esprit was there, bikini clad babes were draped over everyones cars demanding we soak them with buckets of cold water, even a free beer tent open from 9am....

No it didnt happen, the council cocked up. the weather wasnt that good anyway.
