Finally got round to doing it. Sorry I didn't get more, but I saw the DSLR come out, so didn't bother!

Aye, good pics. BTW, the camera isn't a DSLR, it's 'bridge', ie not a full DSLR but a bit more than a normal compact point 'n shoot. Details here

Ah, sorry. I'm a 'n00b' when it comes to cameras. I would've taken more, like I said, but I was under the impression you were taking loads hehe

Pulse - can I ask who you contacted about BBQ/parking (looks like you parked near the BBQ's???) at Lydiard?

Only the Wroughton car show is coming up and the Celica Club are thinking we should wander up there and then have a BBQ after at Lydiard - I was going to open it to you guys too if you were interested???

ETA: oh blimey, Wroughton show is THIS weekend...... best get me skates on if anyone's interested? BBQ's may be booked up I'm guessing?

Hiya, It wasn't near the BBQ's, it was in the field on the left as you first enter the park.

Correct. I didn't even ask Lydiard people if we could do it, we just did it.

Depends how much a track day would cost. I'm guessing a tad too rich for me at the moment. I want to do the 'ring next year.

I'm a member of the CSMA (Civil Service Motoring Assoc.) for my sins, but they're doing a day at Castle Coombe for £100 - normal price is about double - I think it's been subsidised but it's your own track for the day. I can ask the guy who organised it who he spoke to and what sort of discounts we could expect?

BTW, given up on BBQ idea, weather too iffy, but will be going to Wroughton at some point this weekend if anyone else is too?
