Anyone else see it over central Bristol at approx 12:30 today?

Looked like a DC3 or similar on a relatively low-altitude sightseeing trip (flew along over the water and then turned and headed back).

Local news showed the last passenger Dac, apparently it will not pass the new reqs for passenger aircraft and is doing the rounds for one last time, so visited Bristol airport.

That's the 4th time I've noticed it this afternoon; I guess there's a lot of sight-seeing going on as it's the last chance?

I've flown in one, the RAF fitters used to call them " 30,000 loose rivets flying in close formation", never the less, amazing old bird.

They were doing flights out of Bristol Airport this afternoon. Taking off, heading out over the estuary, up to the Severn Bridges, back over the Suspension Bridge and back to the airport again. Cost = fifty squid. ISTR there were seven or eight flights out of BRI today...

Showed up here today, it was running pleasure flights from Newquay Airport.

Shame it didn't come over to "our side" before we close.

It was over Minehead a lot on Sunday, apparently flying out of Cardiff airport. Bleddy typical, didn't have my camera with me either. First plane I ever flew in was an Aer Lingus Dak from Bournemouth to Jersey in about 1963, I was air-sick all over my Dad, great start to the holiday... rofl
