Cheddar Gorge closed next weekend 21st/22nd June.

Just in case anyone was planning a drive down through or up through the Gorge next weekend its closed at the bottom due to a rock climbing weekend and some geezer walking over a wire bridge from one side to the other.

Ahh that is interesting. Planning on cycling through there on my way to wales.... Any idea if it's closed for cycling?

Just says road closed on the signs,but my parents had a letter that I think said it was closed from the coverered resovoir( up the top by bus turning point I think)and they usually shut it off down on the first corner by the coach park.It will be open for pedestrians presumably so should be able to get through on a bike I should of thought.
