for anyone whos intersted, a couple of my mates have just made a website and forum for a club for people based in the south-west, mainly to chat about cars, organize gatherings and go to events together as well as trips to the ring and any good roads like the evo triangle. we all work on our own cars unless it exceeds oour knowledge and would be glad to give any advice and even meet to help work on each others cars or projects. I thought some of you might be interested as its smaller than pistonheads so you will get heard and can be more involved. it is still in its early days but this is your chance to get involved and give suggestions and ideas as it is being developed further. the website is http://www.bse-motorsport.com/

thing that scares the st out of people with new car forums, is that will it be a MAX power. add subs, tinted windows, lower it, huge cherry bomb exhaust or are you talking, fitting twin 45's, remapping the megajolt ecu, small engine, less weight loads of BHP per ton or large expensive cars that under 30's can't buy??????

the great thing with Pistonheads is that it fills the young, middle aged and oldies. i'm only 31 rolleyes and went with a few Ph mates to a car show back in 06 not knowing what to exspect.

lets just say it was, huge subs, maxed out 1.2 ltr Nova's that don't get to 60 ever. unless its shoved off a cliff.

So plese tell us more. what type of cars you talking, mods.

I'm only intrested to find out more as I'm in the south west.

well my freinds, what made us do this club/forum was that we were fed up with our local big body-kitted clowns, we are pure performance. we want to keep it south-west because people feel more welcome.its good here but its all a bit vague and often people feel left out. we are just getting going though so feel free to log on and see what we are planning, in the staff room we are currently discussing a track project car (BMW 325i) to help promote the club. also Russ has a G-tec, which is a sat-nav thing that records 0-60 and quarter miles and so on, Russ took it to santa pod and it was .01 second off. Having our first staff meet this friday to get some pics together for the staff cars section and maybe do a G-tec run or two. stews got the big power with a home twin turbo sierra. as i said we love working on our own cars, keeping them tidy and helping each other solve problems and work on each others cars. hope your satisfied. Where you live then mate?

Why not have a club stand at the Streetwars drag racing that happens each month near Honiton?
