Air-Con around Warminster

Hi, Can anyone tell me somewhere to get my car re-gassed around the Warminster area?? Any Mobile units in the vacinity??

J & G vehicle repairs do re-gassing of air-con, they are down by the domestic refuse skips

How much does air-con re-gassing cost, and how often does it need it doing, typically?

Varies from around £35 up to £85 + VAT depending on wether its just a regas or a full system service/check.

As for how often, it varies i guess on how often you use your air-con in your car etc. Its recommended that you use it at least twice a week for a minimum of 10 mins to keep the system lubricated as the oil is in the gas. If you hardly ever use it then I would think it would fail earlier and need regassing.
As a rule if you feel that your air is not getting cold enough then it needs regassing!

Only until Monday. I rang the garage but they were unable to fit me in till mid next week. Not to worry I'll get it done up in the midlands next week. They were the top end of the price spectrum too although it sounds like they do a fairly thorough check of the system!!
