Hello Guys,

Just a quick warning....

The speed limit on the Ring Road (A4174) between Kingswood (A420) junction and at least round to the Longwell Green junction has been changed down to a 50mph limit from a national speed limit (70mph).

Any guesses where there will be a sneakily placed speed camera(s)?

Can't say for why, but they've raised the ridiculous 30 limit on the 'slip' bypassing the roundabout just before Sainsbury's to 50.
It's April - they probably had to spend their budget before the end of the financial year so just made up bks to piss me off.

Ah well, think it's time for the front numberplate to fall off soon anyway.

Followed a local unit through there at 50+mph recently before it became 50mph wink

The limit from the Downend to Bromley Heath (that is the one with left for Yate isn't it?) roundabouts is now 50mph BOTH WAYS.

Keynsham stretch not affected. So from Hambrook lights to Hicks Gate at Keynsham it goes like this:

50-30(R)-50-30(R)-NSL-30(R)-NSL-30(R)(That's as far as Sainsbury's)
NSL-30(R)-NSL-30(R)-NSL-30(R)-50-30(R)-50-30(R)-NSL-30(R)

...or something like that!

What a game! As soon as I saw the first change I kept a wary eye out for more and Scameras.

Its better not taking the slip road but hitting the roundabout & passing the cars that are mincing along, you can get a good slingshot out of that roundabout & leave everyone for dead.

or so a friend told me....wink

Lol, That was my thought to, All because of the bad drivers and the ones bending the rules to much. Also just another way for the council to get everyone out of cars its a little branch on their tree!

If that doesn't make sense, try the A38 between Burnham and Churchill Gate and try to understand the thinking behind the limits on that road, it just creates confusion, especially with the grippers.
