Some darling lady has pulled out of a junction as I was driving past and hit the back passenger side of my car, cars parked up looking worse for ware where its been hit. Obviously I have to call my insurance company elephant, she admitted fault in my house in front of my housemates and I don't think she will change her details, I have photos just encase.

Do I phone help hire, will they give me a suitable replacement at 21 years old, or shall I just take what elephant give me? Any other advice appreciated, I have her name, address and registration.

(pics later)

Any comments advice appreciated. Feel free to make me laugh.

Sadly im only 21 and it looks like they only deal with the real fancy cars anyway, I don't think my MX5 will cut it for them will it?

Also, who's Annie?

Considering the bottom of their fleet is a 1.0 Micra. And the idea is like for like replacement. I think they'll help deal with anybodys claim regardless of the car.

It's only going to cost you a phonecall to find out.

I dont know who annie is. But I think her dads made a lot of friends on here. smile

Do not contact YOUR insurer - you're claiming from HER insurer - it's their problem.

that's not usually the case if you tell your insurer thay may well get on with sorting out the car then claim back all from the other drivers insurance so you don't lose out with no claims benefits.
that's what i had too do when my car was hit by a lorry in the carpark at work i got all my no claims and excess back in fullsmile

... but if she decides to settle with cash/avoid losing her NCD your insurance company knows about an incident they had no need to know about. Besides, getting them to do the work for you is another one of the reasons why insurance is so expensive.
