SVA help please

Am scratch building a car in the Burnham on Sea area and am coping well with the regs except the headlight bit and am getting closer to putting a fibrelass front end together but the headlight regs are a pig. Anyone out there SVA'd a car and understand the regs as I am having a prob with this. It's OK if you have a kit car as this bit is sorted, but.......................
