Bristol Italian Day - Saturday 26th April
Discussion
Excellent day out, sun shone, car's revv'd and there was plenty of exotic Italian metal to drool over!
Anyone spot my car?, Red Barchetta on the corner of Corn Street and the market area - PH smilies on the wing mirrors!
And for your viewing pleasure a couple of the other cars on display......

Do you know anything about the Alfa in your fourth pic? That was my favourite car of the day - a stunning restoration of a really good-looking car.
Having said that, Brigitte Bardot's old Lamborghini was pretty special too.
Sorry I didn't spot the discreet PH smilies - I would have said hello.

Hi, I think I need to get bigger smilies - I like discreet but they are pointless if not seen!!
I did not get a chance to talk to the owner of the car although a chap standing next to the car said that it had been used in a recent TV ad.
One of the most 'special' cars of the day for me was the Dino, totally original, 1 family owned from new with 17k miles on the clock and all the receipts from day 1!!! Totally amazing, trouble was that 'cos it was original it was not as shiny as most of the other cars and did not get much attention!
Top day out, really looking forward to Brooklands next week now!

I came down form Scotland in the White countach qv. I saw the Barchettas as i have one and had initially asked to cme down in mine but the organisor suggested a different car. i was wandering about in a Deutchland 2006 Brachetta meeting hat looking for owners to chat too, but possibly i was regarded as too sad! lol
Saw the cars and the X1/9 ( another of my collection/heep) cars were lovley
Shame I didnt get a chance to meet you guys
