Nice one South West BiB, lovely to see some proactiveness!

Was tootling back from Bridgewater this afternoon, and I was in the outside lane doing about 85 ish, not really bothering anyone, when a BMW 530 Estate in full Traffic Police livery swung down onto the motorway and snuck up behind me.

Now I just backed off a touch to 80 ish, and simply kept my distance from the car in front, giving the BiB nothing to worry about.

They tracked me nicely, keeping a nice distance, but rather splendidly spent most of the 15 miles following me clearing all the Middle Lane Morons by flashing them with their lights

They were quite happy with me obviously, seeing as I just overtook calmly.

Eventually, by Portishead, they passed me, and I snuck in behind them in the flow of traffic; to my absolute joy, I noticed that the BiB obviously have a sense of humour - I noticed that the back of the 530 (I'm assuming here) was badged up as an M5 (not very well I might add)

Obviously no quad pipes giving it away, but I had to chuckle, and unfortuatly for fear of looking like a spazzer and thus getting myself yanked, I didn't sweep past and give them the thumbs up

Just thought I'd share some proactive and positive policing on our roads
