Off to the desert

Well, as per the title really i'm off to sunny'er climates for 6 weeks (Let's just say it starts with I and ends with Q).
But i'm glad I got the big Cheddar Gorge meet in before I went, so try not to have another big one before i get back (and if you do, take lot's of piccies!)

I should have a bit of internet access whilst i'm down there but if there isn't any, then i'll just wish everyone safe and happy motoring and looking forward to having a good ol' fashioned hoon with you all when I get back.

Good luck mate & keep your head down. Will they give you a GSM for 6 weeks there? It used to be 4 weeks if on an active tour in Northern Ireland.

Just think of the tan you'll have, just as its getting warmer over here

Good luck! Enjoyed speaking with you and Steve C at Cheddar - remember you talking about this. Strangely out of the blue today a recruitment agency called to see if i'd be interested in a construction job on a military base in Iraq.... i'm afraid i won't be heading out there with you tho...!

6 weeks is that it! wow you got it easy anyway good luck out there. im off to sunnier climates in april. mine starts with an a and ends with an n. just round the corner from iraq on the map!

have a good tour anyway and hope it all goes smoothly

Back a week today bud, can't fecking wait either.......it's been pretty unpleasent here recently. Just looking forward to getting the keys to the 'ro back and taking it for a good old run. Sick and tired of doing 30kph everywhere in a clapped out landrover!
