Going to Jongleurs (Baldwin street I think) on Friday night for a leaving doo & I need a recomendation for a travelodge type hotel nearby.

I stayed in Bristol before but it was down by the Imax cinema, is that anywhere near?

Yep - about 5-10 minutes' walk from there. I guess it was the Ibis you stayed at before?

There is also a Travelodge next to the bus station. They are both about the same distance to Jongleurs...

To be pedantic PD what you've flagged is the Premier Travel Inn on St James Barton roundabout. There is a Travel Lodge on Anchor Road, just up from the Imax and the new Ibis.

The Travel Inn is the tall building that used to be North Avon Council (IIRC?)

No worries; I wasn't aware of a Travel lodge on Anchor road, despite the fact that if I crane my neck I can probably see it from the window here!

I *think* the Travelodge on Anchor road has quite a lot of gated parking - if there isn't space there the Millenium underground carpark is very close.

The Travel Inn used to have a tiny carpark that was quite open and if that is full there are only some pretty nasty options for parking (NCP on the outside of St James Barton, the "roundy roundy NCP" near the Artichoke and a couple similar.

I'd go for the Anchor Road end of time if parking is an issue (plus it's a little bit closer to Jongleurs)
