Following this http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Well I am still going to work in Bath, in the very near future and luckily I am not being harrassed by my employers to move like yesterday.

Can't believe how quick it's gone and I still haven't got my house on the market yet. Still doing the DIY before it goes on. I'm doing it myself and therefore it's taking ages.

Anyway. Can anyone advise me of hotels to stay within in the Westbury/Warminster area where myself, wife and kids can stay so I can have a look around.

Typically, I have left it to the last minute to book somewhere and not many places left, and I want to stay over next Saturday night 20th October.

I need somewhere to stay were they serve stella or kronenberg, so I can drink and wind down after househunting.

Any advice will be gratefully appreciated.

Graham

Or there's the Flyer. Its a Travel Lodge or one such chain just outside Frome- just west of a line from Warminster to Bath. Right on the From bypass so good for accessability but noise maybe an issue (never stayed there so I don't know)

They normally triple glaze it - I doubt you'd notice.

Hi Graham,

As steve says there is a travel lodge on the A36 just outside Warminster, but it is a bit rough and ready and the little chef / burger king attached isn't much to write home about to be honest.

Living in Westbury I have eaten at both the Cedar Hotel http://www.thegardenhotel.co.uk/index.php' target='_blank'> http://www.cedarhotel-wiltshire.co.uk and the Garden Hotel http://www.thegardenhotel.co.uk/index.php  and I can recommend both (although I haven't slept in either

Can't speak for Warminster i'm afraid.

Good luck

Dave

the flyers probably the best bet as its right on the bath road, nice and has a good pub attached.
