Looks quite tidy smile How much of a project is it? I've always quite wanted one of these, although being a big car person through and through I've always preferred the fatter SE6s myself.

from the look of things, it should be just cosmetic, things like ditching the louis vitton carpets & the steering wheel for prettier items & a respray, but...not sure if I dont like the colour yet.

As I said before, I will need to look at the rocker assembly as its a bit tappety- but have been told, with these engines you can stop the noise but it will come back 1-2000 miles later, the tickiing will seriously p1ss me off, so im looking at it as motivation to shove a v8 in it, but hat will come later!

Wife is getting me mini-lites for crimbo...she's a good girl!

confused They're made of plastic, you don't need a garage. biggrin

This is what I got as a sensible car when our eldest daughter was born. We had to fasten the baby seat to the rear seats with load straps. Good fun but always overheating and tricky when the limit of adhesion was exceeded.

Weirdly, said daughter is now saving up for one (apparently) having no recollection of ever having ridden in one and with no prompting from me.

I would love it if you could keep it all 70's chic - leopard skin & a fluffy dashboard

I particularly like the brown arm rest ! seats are in good condition tho.
how is she underneath ?

JUST got it home, alternetor just pumping enough, scraping 12v!
Probably dodgy guages though, going to have a really good look at it on sunday.
List so far...

rip out LV, sorry...Bet Lynch carpets
exchange brown bits for black ones
re-wire dash electrics
Over-drive
fan switch
Tappets
Oil change
bin the hideous steel wheels
possible new alernator
new steering wheel
Get rid of sunroof
fit period sterio
& black number plates

Then the body work begins...fun times ahead!

Loosing the will to live at the moment- my garage is covered in oil & I once I got the heads off- they had a nearly brand new set of gaskets hiding away.
Still its coming along & hopefully will end up like this (PH'r Ducati Gary's old example)
I love it to bits!
