I think what helped was the fact that I acknowleged that I needed to pull over, but did not do so for about 1 1/2 miles as it was not safe to do so..

Cue discussion about speed scameras not having the discression of a good old boy in blue....

I saw some young boner in a Nova (predictably) doing a series of handbrake turns down a busy main road on a very steep hill. One mistake and there would have been a nasty head on smash. A camera would not have picked this up 'cos he wasn't speeding. A copper could have nailed the to$$er for dangerous driving.

Glad your experience with the feds was a good one.
