Nice one.

If you are buying from a BMW garage, get them to put some oil in the boot. You can't buy it anywhere else (other than online from germany, but that takes a few days).

I'm sure I may have seen you in Clifton village last night round by the zebra crossing by WHSmiths at about 7:30pm?

I remember thinking to myself: "Those 520D's look good with the Sport kits on" hehe

Hope not. Was there today, just waiting for the wheels now and 4 months+ of waiting will be worth it.

OK, got it yesterday, quick review

1.take 10 mins to work out how to start it
2.watch a bit of countdown on the telly!
3. bumble out of cardiff letting the car mangle through the gears in "auto" mode ( not really auto as its a manual gearbox. This is not its strongest trait.
4. on the dual carriageway, start pondering about the M button on the steering wheel......
5. still pondering, thumb howevering over the button, wondering how much space I will neeed.
6. think sod it
7. press the button, tap the left paddle twice and plant foot to floor.
8. H O L Y
9. M O T H E R
10. O F
11. G O D!!!!
12..gibber
13. titter
14. laugh uncontrollably
15. see 7

biggrin

what a piece of kit.

smile Took one around Rockingham when they first came out. Crazy speeds with lots of gears still to go! If you've got to have a saloon, that's definitely the way to go!

Don't you have to wait a certain amount of miles before you can press the M button?
