Hoping someone may be able to help me - after catching a pot hole on one of our lovely local roads, one of my alloys has a slight buckle to the rim edge. It hasn't been loosing pressure or showing any changes in the handling but I want to get it repaired asap in case it becomes an mot issue.

I've found lots of people who do this service up north and near London but does anyone know of a local company - I've found refubishing services, but none that tackle this kind of damage.

Anyone able to recommend someone local to Bristol?

I had the same problem on an OZ rim.
Try Andy Styles at Iron Acton, just north of Bristol. He did such a good job I got him to refurbish all four wheels. He was the only guy who agreed to try resetting the rim, and did it well. Telno is probably in the book but one I have is 01454 228456. Trades under 'Wheel Styles'.

Good luck
Phil

Seconded.

Top bloke, really put himself out to sort out a friend's TVR rims at very short notice prior to a wedding engagement.

Thirded - got a receipt when I got my new chimaera it showed a wheel repair - I couldn't identify the one that was damaged and the owner had to tell me!

not used pro-tyre for repairs but they are one of the best tyre companies in bristol. one of the only ones i have found who will say "no we dont have that tyre in, but i will make an order and it will be in tommorow morning and you can pick it up after fitting by lunchtime"

all other places say "no, not got that, but you can have an economy tyre if you want"!!!!!

Yep - met Andy last week, great honest (surprising in this day and age!) bloke, car booked in for the repair and refurb of all the other alloys with him at the same time. Thanks for all the recommendations.
