Hi all,

Does anyone know of a decent course I can take in basic mechanics in the Bristol/Bath area?

I've tried searching the local colleges but all I've found is a four week course which doesn't seem to go any deeper than checking the oil.

Any help would be appreciated

OMGyikesOptimax isn't getting tight with the cash already is he and wants you to service the Cerb for him ?At least he'll be alright with getting one wheel up on the pavement to give you enough room to crawl underneath winkHow about your nails and the oil in yer hair?

How about Radstock college???

Depends if you want hands on training or technical knowdlege for non-technical people. I can help you with the latter wink

I'm after some "hands-on" experience so when I buy my new toy I have some degree of knowledge, either if I want to do work myself or so I can talk to a garage with confidence.

Iain is my font of all knowledge when it comes to car maintenance but I would like to understand things for myself and I'm not afraid of getting a bit oily!! wink

If anyone else is interested, I've signed up for this...
