Room to let Clifton Village?

A friend of mine is looking for a room to rent in Clifton Village, preferably available straight way.

She had something lined up but the owner has now discovered a major damp problem in the room she was going to have!

She's mid 20's, professional and very pleasant.

Potentially anything around Whiteladies Road, Redland would do but she doesn't drive so wants to keep fairly close to everything.

No more than £500 per month so probably not enough to rent on her own.

She's keeping an eye on Gumtree but the room she viewed last night that only went on yesterday had 24 applicants!!

Have you seen some of the flatshare websites? She showed me one where the advertisers all had pics of themselves rather than pics of the property! It looked more like a dating service!

Check out ads in the windows of the 10 O'clock shop Queens road/Victoria Square (near the Student Union Building). I found my flatshare there which was on Clifton park Road. Top.

this guy might be able to help, he owns / manages lots of shared houses and flats, including my dads in Redland. in total i think he has over 1000 rooms so hopefully he'll have some thing suitable for your friend.
