Hi all,

I am running an event in Plymouth this weekend, and will have around 20 staff with me on Saturday night.

Any recommendations for a restuarant, that does decent food (a good fish menu would be excellent for some of my staff), can accomodate that number of people for a single booking, and isn't going to cost me the earth?

Cuisine Spontanee every time.
They do group bookings, it's on the Marina (close to Barbican).
You can provide your own wine or buy it there.

They cook it in front of your face type of place... (definitely worth a look).

The first time I went there I was thrown out for being too drunk but have been back and still recommending it - so it must be good!

I had a mate over from the States and took him on a whistle stop tour of the South West, stopped off at the Pilgrim steps in Plymouth. Had the biggest fish and chips I have ever seen at a Cafe close by, looked like half a whale (and he had the other half), he was mighty impressed smile

I've had half a yard from the Cap'n!

CAPTAIN JASPER'S gastronomic delights.

Perfectly placed for a slap up feast before doing burnouts twixt the speed bumps on the hoe.

There's no room to do that on the Hoe, it's too full of 1.2 Corsas scraping the speed bumps!

I Think you'll find Neil doesn't need that much room! wink
