As title says,

planning a trip to the ring in October...can anyone suggest places to stay, best route to travel, etc etc.

On the way back were stopping by for the oktoberfestbeer
but having to wait see if we can get a camping spot at the mo.

Never been before so any advice will be appreciated

Cheers,

Ben

Do not pass go, do not collect £200, instead head straight to the oracle that is Ben Lovejoy's ring site

www.nurburgring.org

You will find answers there to questions you didn't even know you'd asked!

Have you ever met the guy? Met him at the ring last year.. not how I had imagined him to be...

No I haven't, I've read all his trip reports and seen photos of him, never met the bloke though.
Determined to make sure that my first trip to the ring is on a weekend when he's there though.

I suppose you could say he is a bit of a 'spotter' but in the best way... he is so informative and what he does not know about the Ring and all things associated with it - is not worth knowing.

Unfortunately I feature on one of his trip reports so I tend to skip those now... redface

Have a great time at the ring when you go
