Chelt/Glos/Worcs meet & run to PH meet at Gaydon 30th June

Right, some of us went on a run through the Cotswolds on the 15th April and it went well and their appears to be an appetite for another. Please see the original thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

We meet at the Puesdown Inn on the A40 (it's where the C3C TVRCC have their monthly meets) and then have a blat around the Cotswolds followed by a drink/lunch somewhere.

This time it seems to make sense to combine it with a run to the PH Sunday Service meet at Gaydon on Saturday (yes...Saturday) 30th June. I have suggested an 8.30 a.m. meet at the Puesdown to try and avoid traffic!

Sorry Ron - can't make it this weekend - our unit has been invited at the last minute to a medieval event.

Weather's not looking too good for Saturday so I thought I would gauge everyones appetite for going to drive in the rain, chewing the cud and looking at the cars that do turn up in the pi55ing down rain?

If it is raining then all we can do is spend £6.00 going round the museum!! So....who's still going?

I have to admit at the moment it would seem a waste of time (and petrol)!!

Yeah, I'm having to drop out aswell now. Totally forgot that I've got a tattoo booked so will not be able to go come rain or shine.

Might be worth looking at other dates.

Appears to be only be Devout Gooner, myself and possibly Lord Grover (unconfirmed) left on the list! As the forcast doesn't look great I am unfortunately going to make an executive decision and bale out this time. Apologies to Slinky, my passenger....it's unlikely it would have been a good day for a photo opportunity anyway...maybe a the next time we'll get good weather
