i need a 205 gti locking wheel nut tool! the car i bought doesnt have one with it and i need to get the wheels off to change the pads and discs. anyone got one they can drop in the post or i can collect? i know it sounds dodgy but i am an honest chap really!

Try calling around a few tyre fitters - they often have a 'locking-nut-getter-offerer' which they will use for a small fee. As long as they can get a grip on the nut it should be ok.

depends on the wheelnut design, but you can often do it by getting a socket that's 1mm smaller, then smacking it over

Just what I have to do, works well if you don't over tighten wheelnut.

you can get locking wheel nut removers from screwfix for about £10 a set.
