SUNDAY 1st APRIL - 5 hour Wales run - anyone going?

The run 'April Fooling' is taking place on the 1st of April in south Wales. We're going in the V8S - anyone else from the south west going? We'll be going up to the meeting point from Bristol - does anyone want to convoy over with us?

We're keen BUT Glasto tickets go on sale at 0900 that day. If we are sorted by 0910 - like we were last time, fingers crossed!! - then we will be going. I will prep the car the day before etc.

Hiya, a map will be given out when we all meet up but I think a Tom Tom file will also be available. You have to email the organiser for that.

If you want to convoy, my mobile is ************. Give me a call on the day when you have the tickets, but I'm hoping to be at the meeting point at J30 before 10.

Do you mean between Bristol and J30 or if you're late and need to catch up with the group once the run has started?

I was thinking Cribbs to meet up this side of the bridge.

I think the original post details some stops along the way, but I don't know the route so it would be best to post on the main thread.

It's more the catching up. Assuming leaving the house at 0930, it is 70 miles to J30 according to the AA so an hour and a bit, meaning we are about 15 minutes behind the pack....

Last time we got tickets it took 5 browser windows and 3 phones lines to succeed!

Hoping it is going to be easier/quicker this year!

it will be busy in south wales on that day folks as bristol rovers are in the cup final at the millenium stadium so i advise you to allow plenty of time for your journey

i can help solve that problem....find me a car faster than mine...i'll go on ahead, tell all the footie fans what i think of footie, an then floor it in the opposite direction to the run
