My Wife and I are about to by a hosue which needs some work and we are going to be looking for a good architect in the Bristol area. We ideally are looking for someone with experience of more modern ( grand designs type) design as well as someone who is happy to take on the planning dert of North Somerset Council.

If anyone has any recomendations then please feel free to let me know.

Thanks. Owen

I've got some architect friends in Bath so can ask them if that helps?

great, thanks. looking to add large extension as well as change the exterior around the back of the house. We want to use a lot of glass, so any experience of working with that from a structural point of view would be ideal.

We have used Aztech Architecture successfully - very responsive and got our plans past Bristol CC planning and building regs first time.

Nothing useful from my friends - thay all deal with (or are) commercial or industrial architects, not domestic. Sorry.
