Is anyone planning on going to this from the Bristol area?

me and V8S are planning on going.....not 100% sure where we'll be going from, either from mine in Portishead or his place in Dorset, could meet up either way if you want

I was thinking that, isn't 1/4 mile runs the norm?

1/4 is the norm but 1/8 mile tracks are very popular in USA. 1/8 mile also gives very close racing.
