TVR rolling road shoot out - places available!
Discussion
We are having a rolling road shoot out at Richard Bros down in Redruth on Saturday March 3rd and they are a couple places available for anyone wishing to bring their TVR along.
We've got some great cars going already with the soundtrack including a genuine 450 SEAC, 4.5 Cerb, Vixen, S series, M series, 500 Griff, and a couple of Chimaeras.
Any takers? Rough cost about £30.

Just 6 days to go...
I must admit I'm not looking forwards to watching someone else thrashing the Chim for me. The last time I let someone drive the Chim we ended up doing donuts in the pub carpark - Ey Denton !
On the other hand, it'll be awesome to stand behind and hear my own TVR for a change...
Anyone got any suggestions for comedy prizes for the worst performance?

1st gear only then.
I'll try and get down for the June one if there's some interest.

Umm this thread is about a rolling road do Andy. If you fancy doing the dragstrip day by all means pop along. 1/8 mile will hopefully be not too much to test your reliability issues.

Not my car mate, TVR Power's which was super reliable just the suspension that was fettled with to Mark's requirements.
At least our car made it back!
Come along next Saturday, be nice to see what the Griff puts out.

AAhh! I remember now, the temp was dipping around and so we put it on the trailer to ensure we didn't cook the heads. Dicky sensor. My cars in for its Rollcage, so I can't make the R/R session, but I may do the 1/8 mile in June if its on with you guys. June..warm tyres...hhhmmm! Shame its only 1/8 as I said. I'm still wheelspinning then.
cheers Bomber
