a bit short of time.
Need to try and organise something a bit different for a mate for Sunday afternoon. He's getting married (poor chap) a couple of weeks later. Bit of a petrolhead but mainly very old things like Austin 7s and the like.
Nothing too sordid or outlandishly expensive.
Any ideas?

Cheers
David

Try Swindon Karting (indoor) at Wroughton, or there's another indoor circuit at Hullavington just off the A429.

Can't remember the websites but they are easy to find on Google.

My best man is organising a session at Swindon Karting in a few week's time as part of my stag do. Comes very higly recommended.

If he likes looking at old cars and motoring stuff you could take him to the Atwell Wilson Motor Museum in Calne. Well worth a visit.

Wait until 2 or 3, then phone a local car dealer (at home) and insist on a test drive.

Thanks All,
Ended up almost doing the museum in Calne, but he opted for Robot Wars in Swindon.
Not a great show, but they are quite interesting close up. Cheap is one thing they aren't, most of the big ones cost close to 5 figures to build and have bespoke ali castings and machinings.
The weaponery makes quite a noise close up!

Yes, as in the programme. A group calling themselves roaming robots www.roamingrobots.co.uk
do a show at various places around the country. It seems to include alot of the more popular robots from the show.
