Daz et al, anyone up for it? Say 7:30 start, hoon for a bit, then mooch to Verbeer, with a potential milder hoon from there?

Mech? Glen etc?
I would mate but... i still cant believe im saying this... i have to go to church. (but only once a week for the next 5 months!) So i'll be seeing you all down there & if the weather is good.

There are a few positives that ive found in cleansing my soul every week... for example, ive been zapped 4 times in as many months by scamera vans & not one Nip...(& i should have had all 4 really!)

Count me in. I'll get the mapping software going tonight and sort a route with a few favourites in.......
Bill? Does the Caterham need an airing?
or have you convinced Claire to go with an offer of a nice stately house and lunch, so therefore have to be 'watching your speed'

Snigger - Splodge in church shocker!
Could well be up for this - the only snag is the amount of work we need to do on the house over the weekend. We are only talking about minor things like lifting the floorboards in the breakfast room, insulating underneath and replacing and it needs to be done in the next 2 weekends....
Weather forecast for Sunday is very good (top down in Jan - )so an early morning hoon, short stop at the Verbeer to say hi and then back to the chaos is looking good!
Will let you know on Friday

Mine does but I'm in Edinburgh this weekend and
So does mine, but I'm only going to know if I can at the weekend due to painting duties. I can pretty much guarantee I won't make a hoon though (unless there are more than 24 hours next saturday)
Route calculated with a few of our favourite sections of road and in a manner that will make those allergic to motorways very very happy....... Meet LA P&R for 8.00am. About a 2 hour drive with the potential to stop for breakkie mid route and still arriving at Verbeers for 10.30am.
Oh hang on the meet at Verbeers is set for midday. Do people really want an early start?

SOrry, couple of different machines that I'm using, and not changed the logins!
I'm interested in this too. As it's also my first meet i'd rather go to verbeer with other people rather than turn up myself and not have a clue who to talk to and what to say!
Coming from swindon it'll be an early start for me but i'll be up for it. Where exactly are you guys meeting?

It is at the Long Ashton park and ride, south west of Bristol. Map is here:

If we are travelling with the top down, we won't be going THAT quickly....he lies!
DAZ Can you bring some print outs of your route with you?

Can I mention to our newcomers as well, that our Early morning hoons are exactly that.
Early morning, to miss the traffic, and hoons, because we 'make haste'.
If this is your first time, expect to be a bit surprised when everybody boots it - you'll be working hard, whatever car you arrive in
I wouldn't want anybody to get upset that the front runners are buggering off - it's not a 'run' as it would be in the likes of a TVRCC pootle...
However, its to be noted that I used to attend these with a much slower car, but with some hard work, we always kept together. So, to the chap with the MX5, I expect you to be hanging with no problems - I understand they are very useful on the twisties - of which there will be many on our route.
Also, please be aware that the route planned is about 1.5 hours of driving excluding the bit to Verbeer! We like our roads, and want to explore them all - so make sure you have a full tank!!!
Edited to add: This hoon isn't anything to do with PH - these hoons are just a bunch of mates who enjoy eachothers company, and getting up early for a nice drive
