Went past Carrs of Exeter last night and noticed a
275 GTB in silver
and another CS in silver (looks better in red)
F40 is back
288 GTO Evo is back
MC12 still there
Red CS still there
Also the yellow 360 spider is in which I treated a few months back. Owner has changed to a 430 spider. The red CS was his as well . Did not get my hands on the CS but it could do with some paintwork correction (lots swirls light marring etc in the clear coat). Looking at all the cars in the window it seems nuts that they can't prep the cars right , MC12 at over £400,000 with free swirls
Nice selection of cars though

Bought a 360 from Carrs last year - their salesman Lee is one of the nicest, most genuine guys I have ever met - I part-exed another car and he drove back to my home with me - about 40 miles - we had various conversations including "time-wasters" - he had a really sound attitude, based on, you never know who is the time-waster or the genuine buyer so treat them all the same - can't quote him on how they would react to photos being taken but it bodes well so far!

Anyone know how they'd react to a daydreamer with a camera wanting to take some of photos in their showroom? Are they quite accessible or would I just be asked to take a hike?
Ask them if it's OK to take pictures rather than just going in and snapping away. I asked and they said it'd be fine - I also said only a lottery win (sadly!) would enable me to be in a position to make a purchase.

Why not go and offer your services?.They may already use someone else but not realise how crap they are or may have a 12yr old doing it on a saturday morning.Nothing ventured......
The chap who owns the MC12 also has the F40 and the 288GTO Evo is a very lucky FXX owner too.
I had a good look around the enzo thats out the back behind the glass. now i dont have that sort of money to play with but its an absolute bargain. Its done just 800km and 1 owner. they are asking £640k. i think Rmans would be asking nearer £850k.
I took the red CS out for a spin yesterday with the intention of purchasing it, boy is it nice. I am only concerened that the 430 CS will be along anyday and the bottom of the CS market will fall out.
Anyone have any views on this?

Wow I just went in and asked if I could take a few pictures of the cars and the salesman was more than helpful, he told me some info about the 288 GTO and MC12 and said to take as many pics as I liked.
I spent about 10 minutes wondering around looking at the machinery in there, and to think of the value of the stuff in there makes me go weak at the knees.
I was very surprised they were so helpful to an obvious dreamer, when I make my millions I'm going there to buy my car.
Pics to follow when I find the lead for the computer!

Im sure if i get it i can pop by Exmouth.
The enzo is not in the main show room but a little section of the workshop just off the main room. if you go in the door turn right and you will see it. turn left and you will see the rest!!! Very very nice collection of cars there at the moment.

Carrs of Exeter is the coolest Ferrari dealership, i have ever had the pleasure of visiting, and all the staff without exception, our as cool and helpful as you can get.
as for taking photo's which i have done so many times, always ask, they will let you know if there is a car they do not want you to snap ( ie it is plated up for a customer and sold ), otherwise they are happy for you to take pictures and answer questions.
All the salesmen are really friendly and professional, and in the last few months they have had the most stunning collection of cars.
the 288 GTO EVO, one of 5 in the world is awsome, a mint 288 GTO, a fantastic F40, and the best 275GTB in silver i have ever seen. The Enzo is super mint and v low millage and the MC12 is even better.
One day soon i hope to give them my custom, ( still saving ) but can not recommend this place higher.
( no i don't work for them )

Good bunch of guys down there. I went in there as I just happened to be passing to say Hi. At the time I had a 355 GTS which I was perfectly happy with.
I can out 45 minutes later with a 360 Spider...

Quite, i just went in to see the enzo etc. i had no intention of buying another sports car at the moment but couldnt stop thinking about the CS over christmas. I have been frantically renovating a bungalow so no time for cars. the house isn't finished but the garage and drive way are due to be finished next week to allow the Ferrari to come home.
