Just a heads up, the Gatso in Shirhampton on the Portway in the 40 section that changes direction every so often has just had all its lines repainted.

But interestingly, it's had some pressure sensors laid in the road, and an extra set of lines along the cycle path (!) ala Monitron.

Keep an eye out, as it may well be changed - or something even more sinister...Bristol seems to be going Monitron mad!

Boo. Although you'd have to be pretty blind to miss that one in the middle of the road!

It would be a shame if someone put an old burning tyre around it.....

I can understand that camera being there - lots of houses, a set of traffic lights, and a busy dual carraigeway that people like to hoon up - I would expect that that road has the potential for some nasty accidents.

Admittedly, I wasn't crying with dispair when the one further down by the Park and Ride appeared one day to have some rather fetching fire damage.

They've now replaced it with one of those sensible 'light up' 30 signs.
