Agreed. You cannot beat that intoxicating mix of Castrol-R aroma and screaming superchargers. Watching ERA's and Type 35 Bugatti's being 'enthusiastically' threaded through that tight and winding hill is always a buzz.

Think they're taking the mick with the entry cost though. I heard it was going to be something like £16 this year - most other events there are around £5!

National Hillclimb Championship is on at Shelsley Walsh too.

Entry fees for Wiscombe are generally among the lowest - I think my place in next weekend's Five Clubs Hillclimb on Sunday was only £65 or so - Prescott is £90 by comparison.

Anything more than £5 or £6 a head for spectator entry is nuts, though.
