anyone have an idea where i can find a rocking horse in the bristol/bath area? tried the guild on park street but wouldnt mind having a look around? sub £100 would be nice.....

there might be a couple of places in Bath..

There is a toy shop on milsom Street and there is Snooks which is down a back street near M&S

also there is one in the Early Learning centre in the Mall, and you might find on in toys R us at cribbs too

no idea on prices tho

Mamas & Papas at Eastville (near Ikea) have a huge selection. Not sure if any of them are sub-£100, though.

There's a guy in Wroughton, near Swindon, who makes wooden rocking horses. I can't remember his name, but they're handmade quality stuff so probably more than £100.


Edited to add:

Found him on google. Err, £100 pound deposit on order, final price "from £940". Sorry.

Theres a chap who makes them down on the A303 just west of Yeovilton, by the bakery layby. No idea of cost etc but I always see the sign.

the rocking horse place nr yeovilton is very expensive....sure they have a stand at the bath and west each year, i enquired last year about one and it was £4500....was very upset christmas morning!

You can buy a real horse for much less than that!
