There is a meet this Sunday at the cafe next to the Shell garage this Sunday just off the Trerulefoot roundabout about five miles from the Devon / Cornwall border. Simon who owns the cafe wants to turn the place into an 'Ace Cafe' style venue.
The purpose of the meet this weekend is to get as many car entusiasts of any marque there to meet him and to talk about what they would like to see happen at such a place, he would be interested in holding meets there for and clubs or groups of enthusiasts etc in the future.
Simon has a few ideas but would be pleased to meet likeminded folk, I think it's a great idea as there is a void for such a place in this part of the world.
I shall be popping over but if anyone wants more information please feel free to email me via my profile.

The meet will run from 1pm to 4.30pm and a map of the location is here...

I'll try and get there for an hour but got a lot on at the mo.

Nice cars GOM. Would that be your Alpine that I've seen parked in the Barbican at Plymouth on occasions.

No. Mine's been at RoadSpeed in Stroud for the last 12 months - full ground up rebuild, but back in approx 2 weeks time. Yippee

TWICE!

Hoofing day, must have been about 80 cars there, Tuscans, Renault Spider, Porsches, Mustangs, Cobras, Japsters and a whole load of air-cooled Vee Dubs.

All polished of with a 40 mile mini-hoon!

It's going to be a great spot for those summer evening blasts!

Popped down on Sunday in the T350, who's was the Tiv near the entrance? Very nice!!

Twas a bit 'VW Camper Overload' for me last weekend, nice though they were

Were all the old Escorts from PH? Also Renault Sport Spider & loads of Cats & Westies!

I'd be up for another Sunday, keep this thread going, could turn into a big PH meet!

Most definately, we could do with a bit of a meet scene down in this neck of the woods.

Perhaps a couple of evening get-togethers coupled with mini-hoons in the summer?

The Bristol area have got it wired with their curry nights etc this could be just what the Devon/Cornwall area is waiting for?
