Clevedon - sports car central?
Discussion
Is there something about the town? (other than being Costa Geriatrica), we certainly attract quality motors down here. There's a hat-full of BMW M3's, at least three Nobles (including an M10), more Porsches than you can wave a stick at, at least one Bentley Continental Gt(ok, so maybe this is stretching the definition of "sportscar"!). Classic MG's also abound - a pal has a stunning MGB V8 (ok, it's a conversion and wears rubber bumpers, but it looks and sounds great)
On Sunday parked near our beloved pier I even saw a Ford GT, looked in dark blue!
Anyone else care to sing the praises of their neck of the woods - or has Clevedon got it sewn up?!

I live in Chilcompton which is v. small compared to Clevedon and I've got an TVR S2. There are also a couple of Morgan's in the village, my brother owns a Chimaera, my dad has a Taimar SE and a friend of ours has a 993. I've also got friends locally who between them own a 3.0 Z3 (nice noise but not TVR nice!) MGF and MX5. There's also a Caterham here somewhere. More extensive research may be necessary
I've lived in "Zummerset" all my life, and you know......I don't think I've ever actually been to Clevedon - past it on M5 every day,but that's it
Never had any reason to go there to be honest, but now looks like I may have to take a trip. I think there's a car event there - 27th August - combined with a Flower Show - hoping to get to that in my Vette.

I have a theory !
If you live south of Clevedon its the only place for miles where you can buy Optimax.
Where have all the Shell stations gone ?
I live in WSM and frequently visit to buy petrol.
PS - Any one know if the new Tesco 99 RON is on sale in the locality?

There's a bloke up Failand way who has a Zonda, and there's also an Enzo that tools around Clevedon, as well as an F40.
He owens them all and he also has a SLR
There's also a guy (KM) in weston with a Ford GT and a SLR as well as many others inc a nice rally car collection and a workshop I would die for.

Brislington has it. Other side of Bristol though.
DAZ
Yup, and you WILL get lost the first time you try to find it
I've given up on travelling over for the Tesco fuel, and I've been feeding mine on Sainsburys 97 Ron fuel (plus I get the Netcar points which is nice )
