Why would the MSA make a days racing, no entry to spectators?

Something to do with the new arrangements at the circuit I think. There's a thread running on the CC forums about it.

I should be there as usual, in orange no doubt getting wet.

It's because Castle Combe is no longer part of the BRSCC and has established itself as a new club in its own right. The MSA regs state that paying spectators are not permitted at a meeting if the organising club has not run an event in the past 3 years. God only know why. Season ticket holders still admitted according to the CC forums.

Im planning to race the car on my profile, namely my new RX7. Just having the final touches put on it, and we should be ready to test on the 23rd before running on the 25th. Its been a long trip, but the light is definately at the end of the tunnel now.


Oh and I am, without any shadow of doubt, crapping it!

You'll be fine - remember, don't brake too hard over Avon Rise and if you meet Miniman or Me, then you won't have had a good day.

Colin Mcrae last year going over Avon rise backwards. amazing. just flicked it the right way then power slid around Quarry

a sight for sore eyes.

But really, watch out and be careful. but have fun

Ive been there once or twice , and so know the circuit quite well. The worry isnt so much getting round the circuit its avoiding them that want to win!

Also not getting any red mist! This will be my first ever race, thankfully I have the guys from Brunswick Racing coming down to look after me

We are delighted to announce that the MSA have given us permission to allow the public to attend our opening meeting. The first to be organised by the New Castle Combe Racing Club.

just realised that this is the day after my end of term, so i might well try and go. it will be my first real attempt at racing photography (as long as the weather is any good).
