Big match this evening! Should be a good crowd, looking for a cracking game and hope that Dewi Morris' and Stuart Barnes' prediction of Bristol win is correct.

A few at the Wellington before the game and then a pasty in "Idiots Corner", perfection!

(I learn with horror of the security around tomorrows City v Swansea game - no beers, coaches for away fans, shocking. Bristol & Worcester fans are among the most passionate in the game, but will mix happily with no fear of violence, and limited (if any) policing))

The old adage holds true:

Football is a game for gentlemen played by hooligans whilst rugby is a hooligan's game played by gentlemen.

or words to that effect

Agreed - you should have seen the security round Ashton Gate for City v Cardiff in the playoffs a couple of years ago. The contrast with the security round the ground for Bristol v Bath the previous weekend was shocking.

Shame about tonight - someone is delivering furniture instead of me at the Memorial Ground

No. It's footy for me tomorrow. Although the Wellington does have some nice bar staff

I'll be be hard at work in a decent firm of accountants tomorrow so will miss all the actions at the Gate - good luck to the City though.

So good I wrote it twice!
