Yup been for the past 4-5 years Mannin the Stand

It's a fairly basic no frills show. it's more 'Practical Classic' than 'Classic and Sportscar' if you no what I mean.

But a good day out all the same.

Cheers Dan

A really good show IMHO. Excellent autojumble area. I'll be there on Sunday, no doubt hanging around the Corvette stand which I usually help with - not this year though due to work . Had my car on the Corvette stand in 2002 and got Best of Show Runner Up, a first for the US Car fraternity at a Classic Show in UK. My moment of fame that was
This year I'm looking for bits and bobs for my Mexico which I plan to do a resto/custom job on this year (and no doubt next year, and the year after that......)

Every January, at the Shepton Mallet showground. Popped along today, had a quick look round. It's a nice little show, some nice cars, and another hall of traders and jumblers. I'm not much of an auto-jumbler, but it's always a good excuse to go for a blat on a nice day. Took the scenic route home over the Plain.

yea i know what you mean, there was nothing, i only heard about it on Pistonheads. Bristol has 2 car shows, this one in Shepton Mallet & the classic & sports car show on the downs, normally around June time. This was a pretty good show, met up with GI at 9.00 & we motored down together, i left about 1ish & followed a Grif 500 all the way back... a good day. It was really busy when we left.

Hi Garry,

Great drive down - most enjoyable day out and very nice to meet you and Mary. Had a long chat with a bloke at the TVR stand who owns a V8S and now have his email address to maybe meet up some time...

Your Esprit looks and sounds great.

Seriously considering the Britball Run!

Cheers,

Graham

Yea, good to meet you both! i still think you should have had the roof down like a true TVR petrolhead, it was bloody freezing though! Try & make the Mendip run, hopefully on the 19th Feb, & the Britball run is one of the best fun weekends you'll have, see ya soon mate.
