Hello chaps and chapesses.

I've been let down badly by the guy I usually use. So I'm looking for somewhere decent to take the Four for some work.

Basically, I need a few things adjusting and the like. The major fault is the ABS, so the place needs to be reasonably happy with electronics and tracing wiring and stuff.

Obviously some experience with turbo Jap tin boxes would be nice, but it's just nuts and bolts when it comes down to it.

I'm based in Swindon, but could probably travel an hour or so (if they can provide a car to get me back).

Anyone know anywhere they'd like to recommend.

PowerStation, now in Tewkesbury seem to know what they're on about. I had my 4 wheel alignment done there last year when they were still in Cheltenham and they had all sorts of jap stuff there.
The subaru works rally team used their workshops when the RAC was based in cheltenham a few years back too, so that must count for something.

You could try Bath Performance Cars in, erm, Bath. Won't have a courtesy car for you, but good small garage with friendly service. Gary is the main mechanic, & knows Subarus well - just re-built his own WRX engine.

Hi there MrE old bean
Have used both Interpro & Powerstation.
Interpro have an excellent workshop & very good rep locally.Powerstation, I'm sure they really know their stuff with scoobies & the like but wasn't very happy with them when I took the 'liner for a tune there.Car wasn't strapped down on the rollers properly(2 lads sat in the boot )& they suggested using a bleed valve to increase boost TBH it was nearly 2 yrs ago,so things may have changed.
Karma Imports in Bristol may also be worth a look-I think Batty FTO has been there too.

Thanks for the heads up chaps.

Due to some clever car shuffling, she's going to Ian Smith in Nottingham, who eats, sleeps and breathes GT-Fours.

If he can't sort it, no one can.
