Did anyone go? Did anyone even get close? Whoever had the genius plan to close off the main road and re-route on the coast road past Whitsand Bay needs stringing up. Sitting in stopped traffic was not a pleasurable experience in a VX220 - we and many others took the opportunity to turn around at Freathy.

Shame, I was looking forward to it.
