Anyone have any experience with them? a "Performance/prestige" type place, not one of those silly ones that calls an Vectra 2.0 SRi and a 316i performance cars, but not exactly full of F355's and Elise's either.

Might drop by the Lympsham branch to view an amusingly priced 120,000 mile 190E 2.3 16v they have and see what's so special that it's £6,995 ? (FWIW There are two newer, similar mileage ultra-rare 2.5 Evo I's for that amount on autotrader at the moment, and a 100,000 mile stolen recovered 2.3 needing a boot lid and engine work for £550.. £6,449 gets you a lot of boot lids or engine work)

My local garage (Winscombe branch) Ian's a nice chap and normally has a few nice cars to browse over. Some are a little over price but a deal can normally be done They service both my parent's cars and I take the Tiger there for it's MOT as Trevor (garage manager) let's me sit in my car for it, pushing the pedals etc.

Do phone before hand, as there are three sites and you may not find the car you're planning on looking at at the branch you go to.

Saw the car this morning.

Nice friendly bloke, knowledgeable, the 190E's a pretty nice, very straight and original car with only minor blemishes, but is has obviously been used and is not concours or anything (his words not mine).

So he's not exactly giving it away but, nothing wrong with that. I'll hedge my bets with a private purchase for around half the price, methinks.

Good garage, with a good reputation if a bit pricey (as already stated)
A colleague bought a porsche from them Ian a few years ago, had no problems with it, or the garage.

I would buy from them.
