Nick Mason’s Open Day
Discussion
I’ve had my eye on going for a few years, I used to be in classic racing and still see what Ten Tenths get up to (his racing firm).
It’s around the same time every year, some pretty spectacular visitors cars alongside around 20 of his own vehicles spread around the grounds.

He was very kindly posing for photos and signing stuff for the hundreds that turned up and parked on his lawn 😁

I popped along on the Saturday. Though I think I spent more time ogling some Ferrari 360s in the parking area. Great way to spend a couple of hours but it was heaving! Ending up getting lunch elsewhere as the queues were massive. Also watched a small child attempt access to the F40, Nick obviously knew to keep them locked! Even saw the man himself just walking about.
It's walking distance from home, so I really should go - but I also heard first-hand that the crowds were huge this year (which is to be commended, as it is a charity event....), so I stayed away and went for a very enjoyable ride on one of my own Italian steeds
Top marks to Nick Mason and the crew though. Perhaps I'll go next year.
