I have a set of AMG V 16 spoke alloys that I will be looking to get refurbed soon. Do you have any recommendations on places that do great work that you've been impressed with ?

Cheers

Watching with interest as I have some wheels in need of refurbishment and am not sure where to take them. The last place in Bristol I used has closed down.
I was looking at The Wheel Specialist in Avonmouth but have no experience with them.

Slightly outside your preferred area - https://platinumalloys.com

I had a set of alloys from my Audi S6 refurbished there early this year, following recommendations, with excellent service and results.

Last set I had done was at Phoenix in Bristlington, if they are still there - really good service on some Alpina rims.

Late to this thread, I’m in Bath & have had RS6 and M4 and Clio Cup wheels done at Platinum Alloys Swindon .. very pleased

Another vote for Platinum Alloys here.
The Wheel Specialist in W-s-M also excellent, I have no experience of the Avonmouth franchise.

Cheers,

Absolutely the ONLY place is Weston Wheel Refurb in Weston Super Mare, they provide an incredible service and can combine alloy refurb with brake caliper re paint as well.

I had a set of Abarth wheels done and a good friend of mine had his RS4 rotors redone and they were like new.

Superb team of guys who offer all finishes and often have an offer running website is here but check out their Facebook page to see their work -

Just wanted to update this as I finally got the GLC's scabby diamond cut wheels refurbished

I now hate diamond cut with a passion so there was no way I was going to get them re-finished, only for them to go scabby again.

This is before

You can see the corrosion quite clearly here

The others weren't quite so bad, but not great tbh

I chose Village wheels in the end after reading the reviews on google

https://villagewheels.co.uk/

And decided to get them powder coated, but in Shadow Chrome. Over the moon how they have turned out ! Hopefully being powder coated they should last a hell of a lot longer.

Now, baring in mind these are 20" wheels, total cost - £312 (inc Vat) !
