What unearth was going on by the hospital this evening?

There were more policeman than at the policeman’s secret ball!

Ambulances too, and not ones leaving, more ones stopping to pick up, I think. Anyway they had to close the road!

i was in bristol today, not sure where hospital is but i did see a lot of ambulances and a LOT of police around college green and the hippodrome, horses cars,vans,police with cameras, bbc radio, dog vans, the lot!

looks like a protest was going to take place

No idea, but the choppers have been circling all evening with searchlights on.

If we started an Anti G8 Protestor Protest, and laid into the crusties, would the Police join in on our side or bang us up too?

I was working.

The plan was to be prepared in case of any retribution / disorder / protests following the bombings.

We had a sgt and 6 in a van for every district (a to J) plus the normal shifts.

Nothing happened though. Not even the usual p1ss heads causing trouble.....well, one woman threw her kebab at a colleague.

Rang ewelme yesterday, the insurance co haven't even asked them how much it is yet, let alone paying for it.....Mind you ewelme said I could pay it and claim it back from liverpool victoria. I think they are as desperate to get rid of it as I am to take charge of it.
