They're no longer free - but only a fiver and it goes towards the running costs of Haynes. They've completely revamped the 'parking' at the back now - it's all been tarmacced

I’ve booked, fingers crossed for no x-tier travel restrictions by April 4.

April has been cancelled due to the lockdown changes, so they might be in the middle of changing it to reflect that. I booked April & May just fine, though now moving my April ticket to July.

Thanks, I did phone them up and they informed me that they where swamped with cars trying to reorganise them. My impatience got the better of me.

Full storm in a teacup. They've got to limit numbers and if you make tickets free people would just book them up and then not show up.
To be honest, they should have done it before - the numbers were getting ridiculous at times at with cars parking up outside the gates, queues along the road, etc, it was getting dangerous for non-event traffic with people driving past the queue on the wrong side of the road, etc.

They've had a year of minimal income and invested heavily in improving the site infrastructure, so actually looking forward to a bit more relaxed atmosphere, better parking with the hard standing, better outdoor catering, etc.
