Hi all,

Just purchased a 3 year old car and the vinyl trim on exterior is very faded ("whitened") by polish/product/??. It looks very unsightly and although the dealer tried to correct it before I drove it home yesterday, after the rain, it seems pretty bad again.

So, can anyone recommend a solution, or a place in Bristol/Bath area which would be able to sort this out.

Thanks in advance,
Craig.

Without seeing it, it sounds like it just needs a deep clean.

You could try yourself using a melamine sponge and a citrus based cleaner.

Cheers,

Chris

Many thanks Chris. By "citrus-based", what do you mean? e.g. orange oil??

If it’s black, then give autoglym bumper and trim gel a go, works really well in my experience.
