Urgh! Just taken me an hour to get to work as Blackboy Hill is closed - crawling (literally) with police accident investigators. Hope everybody walked away from whatever it was.

Pedestrian hurt in road accident
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Bristol.
The accident happened on Monday morning on a zebra crossing at the top of Blackboy Hill in Clifton.

The road was closed causing major congestion during the morning peak hours with traffic tailing back as far as Westbury-on-Trym.

I saw the traffic tailing down Stoke Hill, which struck me as odd, so it must have screwed a lot of peoples journey into work.

Hope the poor fella gets well, whatever the circumstances for the accident.

That explains why Cranbrook Road was unusually busy.
