Hey all, just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for changing the fluids in the 06 Cayenne with the Tiptronic box?

I’ve tried Wiltshire Transmissions but the chap only services manuals, Neil at Kemble industrial park but they didn’t call me back when I asked for a quote and some place recommended on here near Newbury / Chievely but they won’t touch it.

I’ve got quotes from Bristol Transmissions for about £350 and Gloucester Transmissions for about £300 but if I can get away without a 100 mile round trip then all the better.

I’m conscious this is a job that could be done at home but I don’t have a level space or the axle stands etc so happy to have a pro do the job this time round.

Cheers

If you haven't booked already - try Alex at Croft Autocare ( www.croftautocare.co.uk). Just over the road from Neil Garners, very reasonable pricing and brilliant service.

He does all my work now, both personal cars and through the business.

Mention Rich at UK Detailing sent you biggrin

Thanks Rich, much appreciated. Haven’t booked yet, just awaiting prices back but boiler has gone in the house so that’s taking priority this afternoon.

I’ll give Alex a call tomorrow morning to throw into the mix thumbup

Maundrells may be able to help, I know they have an ex OPC technician working there. Based near Shrivenham.

This side of Wantage is worth a shot. They’re in the mix - thanks Womble, I’ll give them a shout in the morning too

Just a brief update for you all.

Unexpected issue thrown up on the M4 last week left me stuck at Leigh Delamere and needing to be recovered. ABS sensor was causing the issue after less than two weeks of ownership so it’s back with the dealer for resolution (thankfully they’re a pleasure to deal with).

They gave me a competitive quote to change the gearbox fluids and filter so I’m getting both jobs done at the same time to save me any further hassle / time off the road.

Just for info, prices ranged from £220 to just over £400 for the job.

Cheers all for your input.
